Our group incurs many expenses dealing with printing such as ink cartridges and paper. Currently due to lack of funds we are trying to copy all of our materials ourselves. We also have expenses with the training and materials for both programs. We try to be at as many public animal events to promote our group and training but the cost of booths becomes an issue with limited funds. As part of our R.E.A.D. program we supply bookmarks, paw stickers, and books to the children. When the child reads 10 books he/she will receive a new book "pawtographed" by the dog.
We have limited ways of raising money for our group. Currently we pay dues, raffle baskets, recycle ink cartridges and cell phones. We are registered with Florida Dept. of Ag & Consumer Services Registration #CH21330.
If your organization can help us with our fundraising in any way we would greatly appreciate it. We are a total volunteer organization that has each paid personally for all of our training and organization expenses thus far.
